Sales Account Executive

We are looking for ambitious and hard-working sales professionals to join our exciting, fast-paced, team-oriented company and contribute to our tremendous growth and bright future. The Sales Account Executive is a critical member of the NewPower Worldwide sales team and is responsible for driving revenue growth with new and existing customers. As a NewPower Worldwide AE, your single focus is to increase sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and create strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Serve as the primary POC for all day-to-day customer account management matters.
  • Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships by putting the customer first: being consistently visible, highly responsive to all customer requests, and ensuring commitments are honored.
  • Have a deep understanding of the customer’s business (products, services, markets, supply chain, partnerships, cycles, values), organization (reporting structure, R&Rs, decision-makers, influencers, blockers, etc), and how decisions are made.
  • Promote all products and services clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Thoroughly qualify every opportunity, identifying customer pain points, recognizing buy signals, and understanding the decision-making process.
  • Ensure the entire sales process is done with a high level of urgency and accuracy to exceed customer needs/expectations: RFQ, quote, order processing, and fulfillment.
  • Drive and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
  • Accurately document and update prospecting activity and new sales opportunities in our proprietary CRM.

Purchasing Representative

Responsibilities include researching targeted / strategic vendors, developing relationships with potential new vendors, managing, and growing existing vendor revenue opportunities.

Logistics

Shipping & Receiving Specialist

The shipping/receiving specialist is an integral part of the NewPower team and will be responsible for shipping and receiving electronic components and managing inventory. The primary responsibility of the shipping/receiving clerk is as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Identify, schedule, and manage cost-effective inbound and outbound shipments; handle required paperwork; and maintain data in the appropriate systems.
  • Inspect product to IDEA ICE 3000 parameters.
  • Interface with sales, purchasing, customer service, order management, and transportation providers to ensure a smooth and timely flow of materials.
  • Implement quality checks and double-checks to ensure 100% correct shipments.
  • Note any exceptions and notify the supervisor and/or commodity manager.
  • Utilize an automated system to enter and complete import/export paperwork.
  • Handle all electronic components/products according to ESD training.
  • Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure inventory counts are accurate.
  • Assist in ensuring that inventory value levels are maintained per corporate goals.
  • Performs physical cycle counting monthly and is part of the team leading the annual physical inventory process; responsible for accounting transactions related to cycle counting and physical inventory.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, import/export, UPS, DHL, and FedEx shipping systems.
  • Experience in the electronics industry is a plus.
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and RMA/VRMA processes.
  • Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail and timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be self-directed; able to overcome obstacles to meet deadlines.

Quality

Quality Engineer

NewPower Worldwide is the fastest growing global independent distributor of electronic components and finished goods. The Quality Engineer is an integral part of the NewPower Worldwide team and is responsible for supporting all quality inspections and all related processes to ensure the highest level of service and quality to our customers. You will be depended on to safeguard against poor quality, parts meet manufacturer standards for form fit function, and ensure quality assurance processes are well documented and strictly adhered to.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all technical aspects of CPU and memory inspections/testing based on customer requirements.
  • Responsible for electronic component inspections and identifying all parts that do not meet quality standards, including non-confirming and or counterfeit parts.
  • Help create, review, maintain and document all quality standard operating procedures within multiple quality inspection teams worldwide.
  • Prepare and review quality data for customer quarterly business reviews and participate as needed in a customer-facing role as the quality subject matter expert.
  • Provide technical support in a customer-facing support role for any quality-related issues and lead corrective action processes.
  • Generate, analyze, and review root cause data with all quality issues to provide documented corrective actions.
  • Support the company’s efforts in all customer, organizational and regulatory compliance, including participating in any and all quality audits.
  • Manage and coordinate internal audits and assist in the preparation for external customer/agency audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / related fields and or 3-5 years experience in quality engineering.
  • Solid working knowledge of QC principles and standards.
  • Experience with ESD compliance a plus.

The Accounting Assistant will be a vital member of the ever-growing Finance team. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
  • Use various platforms to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Assist with meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by coordinating requirements, materials, schedules, and assignments
  • Maintain creative asset library, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed

Requirements
